Breitling Avenger Seawolf Chrono
On November 20, 2008 by breiblogWith this Breitling watch, Avenger Seawolf Chrono, you could possible journey to the center of the earth and back with no damage. It is the only chronograph to be water resistance and operational at 3,300 feet or 1,000 meters. Normally, at those depths water would trickle through the crown and the watch would probably explode… well, maybe just crack.
Exploding and cracking are definitely not in this Breitling watch’s vocabulary, because it can’t be touched. Literally, it can’t be touched. If the wearer presses buttons and twist things around, they have no connection to the movement unless they break the watch apart. So the movement is totally isolated due to a magnetic technology developed by Breitling.
Not only is keeping water out important, but saving your eyes is another great quality of the Breitling Avenger Seawolf Chrono. It has large numbers littering the dial as well as oversized hour, minute, and second hands…all luminescent for those dark moments.
Additional technical data includes a Breitling 73 caliber, thremocompensated SuperQuartz movement, 1/10th second chronograph (…60 minutes, 12 hours), dial aperture calendar, steel case, unidirectional and ratcheted bezel, screw-locked crown, and cambered sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides.
