The Breitling Chronomat Watch

Of course, Breitling enthusiast would argue and say the leader model should be the Navitimer, however by “leader model” I think Breitling means a model that is used to base its designs off of. Maybe every watch in Breitling’s collections started off as a Breitling Chronomat watch? It’s been given the nickname “The Reference” by Breitling and its design hints that historically it has a great significance to the brand.
The Breitling Chronomat was originally created for the Frecce Tricolori Flight Team and just like aviation, has evolved and changed over the years. The heart of the watch is the Breitling Caliber 13, an accurate selfwinding chronograph. Other technical specifications of the Breitling Chronomat include:
